Wear OS + Google Health Connect Apple Watch + Apple Health, coming soon

Track from your wrist. Keep the health app you already use.

HealthFlow is not another place to move your data into. It adds fast tracking flows to your watch and writes every entry straight into Google Health Connect, so Google Health, Samsung Health and the rest of your apps see it too. Your phone can stay in your pocket.

Free while in preview. Nothing to migrate, nothing to cancel.

Tap the tiles. One tap on the water drop logs 250 ml, the same as on the real watch.

An add-on, not a replacement

Your health app stays the home of your data. HealthFlow makes it faster to fill.

Most trackers want to become your new dashboard. We went the other way. HealthFlow reads and writes the health store your phone already has, and puts the quickest way to log on the device that is always on you.

What stays the same

  • Your apps. Keep Google Health, Samsung Health, your scale's app. They all keep working.
  • Your history. Years of steps, sleep and heart rate stay where they are. Nothing to export or import.
  • Your source of truth. Health Connect today, Apple Health soon. HealthFlow writes there first.

What HealthFlow adds

  • Watch-first logging. Water, weight, body fat and mood in one or two taps on Wear OS.
  • Workouts that run on the watch. Plan routines on the phone, then run them on your wrist with no phone nearby.
  • Deeper links between your data. Heart rate, HRV and sleep from Health Connect feed your hydration goal, your rest timers and your calm sessions.

HealthFlow

Your store

Health Connect

The entry lands in Google's health store on your phone. Apple Health on iPhone, soon.

Everyone sees it

Your other apps

Any app you have connected to Health Connect picks it up. No double logging.

What you have today, and what HealthFlow adds

Google and Apple built the health store. HealthFlow builds the shortcuts on top.

Health Connect and Apple Health are excellent at keeping your data in one place and sharing it with the apps you allow. Quick logging from the wrist is where the gaps are. That is the part we fill.

The watch is the main entry point

Every flow is built for a wrist, a glance and a thumb.

Your phone is great for planning and reviewing. Logging should not need it. Each flow below runs fully on the watch.

1 tap

Water

Tap the drop to add 250 ml. Hold for a custom amount. The ring fills toward a goal that rises on hot or active days.

→ Hydration in Health Connect
2 taps

Weight

Step off the scale, turn the crown to 78.4 kg, save. It starts from your last reading so you only nudge the decimals.

→ Weight in Health Connect
2 taps

Body fat

Same scroll wheel, in percent. Readings from a smart scale already in Health Connect show up here too.

→ Body fat in Health Connect
per set 1 tap

Training routines

Your routine is on the watch: 4 × 8 at 60 kg, rest 90 s. Confirm the set, adjust reps and kg on a wheel, and the rest timer starts on its own.

→ Workout history, synced later
1 tap

Calm

A breathing session paced by haptics on your wrist. When your heart rate and HRV point to stress, the watch can offer one.

← Reads heart rate and HRV
2 taps

Mood

Pick how you feel in two taps. Over time it lines up with your sleep and training so you can see what helps.

← Reads sleep and activity
Coming next

Food tracking that works with the food app you already use.

Log meals in HealthFlow with a photo or by building them yourself. Or keep logging in MyFitnessPal, Cronometer, Lose It! or any app that shares nutrition with your health store. HealthFlow reads those meals too, so your summaries and recommendations see everything you eat.

  • Photo estimate

Snap your plate. HealthFlow suggests the foods and portions, you adjust the grams, then save. Runs on the device where it can.

  • Meal composer

Build a meal from foods and barcodes, save it once, log it again with one tap. Calories, protein, carbs and fat add up as you go.

  • Bring your food app

Meals logged elsewhere arrive through Health Connect or Apple Health. They are shown with their source and are never counted twice.

  • Re-log from the watch

Yesterday's breakfast, your usual coffee, a saved meal. One tap on the wrist, no phone needed.

Off until you turn it on. With it off, meals you log in HealthFlow stay in HealthFlow. With it on, apps that read nutrition from the store, such as Google Health, Samsung Health and Lose It!, show them. Most food apps, MyFitnessPal and Yazio included, only write to the store, so they won't.

Works without your phone

Leave the phone in the locker.

Routines, your exercise list and today's goals are stored on the watch. Log as much as you like with no phone and no signal. When the two meet again, everything syncs once, in order.

Your data

You choose what HealthFlow can touch.

Permission per data type

Health Connect asks you for each type, read and write separately. Turn any of them off later and HealthFlow keeps working with the rest.

Smart features on the device

Where your phone or watch can run them, suggestions are computed on the device. Cloud features stay off until you allow them.

No duplicates

Before writing, the phone compares new entries with what is already in your health store, so a glass is never counted twice.

Questions

Before you install

Do I have to stop using my current health app?

No. Keep it. HealthFlow writes into Google Health Connect, which your current apps already read from. Think of it as a faster keyboard for the health data you already keep.

Will my entries show up twice?

No. Your phone reads Health Connect, compares it with what HealthFlow has, and writes only the entries that are missing.

Does the watch need my phone nearby?

Only to sync. Logging and full workout routines run on the watch alone, and entries wait in a queue until the phone is back in range.

When is the iPhone and Apple Watch version coming?

It is in development, built on Apple Health in the same way the Android app is built on Health Connect. We will announce the date here.

I log food in Yazio. Do I have to switch?

No. On iPhone, Yazio shares meals with Apple Health, and HealthFlow will read them from there. On Android, Yazio doesn't share meals with Health Connect yet, so they can't reach HealthFlow. MyFitnessPal, Cronometer, Lose It! and Samsung Health do share. Use HealthFlow's photo and composer only if you want to.

Which watches work?

Wear OS watches running Wear OS 4 or newer, such as Pixel Watch and Galaxy Watch. Apple Watch support comes with the iOS release.

Keep your health app. Put the shortcuts on your wrist.
